Reserve Pinot Noir
Our California Appellations
Diverse microclimates make Sonoma unparalleled among the world’s premium winegrowing regions. Rocky soils, resulting from ancient volcanic activity, stress the vines, resulting in smaller berries of intense flavor.
Warm temperatures draw cooler ocean air and fog inland from Monterey Bay, keeping the grapes cool during the heat of the day, resulting in long, even ripening of the fruit.
Mountain valleys are ideally oriented to channel sea breezes and fog inland from the Pacific, allowing the grapes to fully develop flavors, acids, and tannins across their extended “hang time.”
